This past week has been among the most tumultuous of the last four years of the Trump administration, with the President testing positive for COVID-19, spending time in the hospital and now returning to the White House and exhibiting troubling, erratic behavior. In just the last 24 hours, the President has slandered Senator Kamala Harris with false personal attacks, called for his political rivals to be prosecuted by the Justice Department and backed out of the second presidential debate. Although I doubt many of us needed it, this is another stark reminder of why we absolutely must elect Joe Biden and Democrats who will finally put a stop to the Trump presidency. 

It's up to all of us now. Make sure to return your Vote by Mail ballot and lock in your vote. If you're not registered to vote or know someone who needs to register, visit the state's Online Voter Registration page before the deadline on October 13. If you can spare some time, find out how to volunteer for campaigns at all levels on our Volunteer Hub. And if you can make a small donation, do it now to make sure we have the resources we need to win this election. 

When he first ran for Governor, Phil Murphy made legalizing adult-use marijuana one of his cornerstone campaign issues. While legislation legalizing marijuana did not pass the state legislature, there is an opportunity now for voters to take the reigns and make this change by voting Yes on Ballot Question #1. Governor Murphy has continued to be an outspoken advocate for legalization, stressing the social justice implications as well as the job creation, economic development and new tax revenue it will bring.
