John -

We have 25 days to win important elections up and down the ballot that will determine this country's future. We need every Democratic voter fired up, ready to go - and equipped with a plan to vote. That's why I'm asking you to make a voting plan right now:

Will you take a moment to go to iwillvote.com, confirm your registration and make a voting plan?

I know most of you probably intend to vote - but as this year has proven, things don't always go to plan. During a national pandemic with a president disinterested in trying to save lives and get our country open safely, voting cannot and should not be taken for granted.

If you're voting absentee - and I highly recommend you do - have you already requested your ballot? Do you have the right color pen to fill out your ballot? Do you have the correct postage to mail it in? Do you have time set aside to vote? Do you know when your ballot has to be postmarked in order to count? Is there a ballot drop box near you?

If you're voting in person, do you have a mask? Are you able to vote early? Do you have a ride to your polling location? Do you need any identification to vote?

Voting seems simple until suddenly it's Nov. 3 and you urgently need to cast your ballot.

That's why I'm asking you to make a plan - not later, not days before Election Day - but right now. With so much on the line from the top of the ticket to local elections, everything depends on Democrats getting out the vote, making a voting plan - and following through to have your ballots counted.

So, please, if you haven't already voted, will you take a few minutes to make a voting plan by going to iwillvote.com and ensure you know what it's going to take to defeat Donald Trump and his agenda up and down the ballot?

We can change the direction of our country, but it's going to take each one of us doing everything we can - including voting - to make sure we have our say to change it.

Thanks for everything you do,

Michelle Lujan Grisham
