I’m honored to introduce you to our latest class of Truth to Power endorsements—four women who are going to are going to be powerful advocates for working families while in Congress:
Amy Kennedy is running for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd District. She’s an advocate for mental health, a 4th generation South Jerseyan, and an educator who has spent over a decade working in public schools. In Congress, Amy will fight for a Workers’ Bill of Rights, quality, affordable health care, and rebuilding South Jersey’s economy.
Betsy Dirksen Londrigan is running for Congress in Illinois’ 13th District. A former teacher, Betsy ran for Congress in 2018 and came within less than one percent of the vote of unseating Republican Rodney Davis. In Congress, she will fight for the middle class, affordable health care, jobs, and education.
Kate Schroder is running for Congress in Ohio’s 1st District. A 5th generation Cincinnatian, a cancer survivor, and a mom, Kate has spent her career lowering costs and improving health outcomes. Kate will work to improve access to affordable, quality health care, fight climate change, and reforming the criminal justice system in Congress.
Jill Schupp is running for Congress in Missouri’s 2nd District to flip the district from red to blue. She’s served Missourians in the State Senate since 2014 where she tackled health care billing, day care safety, and mental health training. In Congress, Jill will put Missouri’s families first and stand up to corruption, lobbyists, and special interest groups.
If elected, these candidates will make history in Congress. We’ll be unstoppable in making transformational changes on behalf of working families, and will call out injustices, incompetence, and corruption, and always speak truth to power.
All of our endorsed candidates have had a 100% victory rate in their primaries, and we’re hoping to keep our winning streak up through Election Day. Will you make a gift today to help keep our momentum going so we can help get all 28 Truth to Power candidates elected in November?
