Thank you in advance for your support over these final few weeks of our campaign for Congress in NY-01.
It’s clearer than ever that we need scientists in Washington. Trump has suggested that “science doesn’t know” the effects of climate change, mocked Joe Biden for wearing “the biggest mask he has even seen,” and admitted that he downplayed the severity of the virus from the start rather than be truthful with the American people.
It is imperative that we not only replace Donald Trump but that we thoroughly defeat his allies who have emboldened the very worst of this president, including my opponent Lee Zeldin, who joined Trump at his dangerous Tulsa rally and, at the RNC Convention, praised the Trump coronavirus response in NY as “phenomenal.”
We must elect leaders who will fight for our health care, the future of our planet, and our reproductive freedoms. As a scientist, you can count on me to be at the forefront of these fights in Congress when we defeat Zeldin on November 3.
We’ve got our work cut out for us, but my team knows what we need to win. We’ve mapped out our path to victory, and to ensure we defeat the president's biggest cheerleader in the House, we’ve adjusted our field goals for the rest of the weekend. We could not have built up this incredible momentum without you. Will you pitch in to keep my team pushing on so we can reach thousands more voters before tomorrow night?
