Over 100 shelter dogs are being quickly evacuated as Hurricane Delta continues to threaten the Gulf Coast.
Over 100 Animals Being Evacuated
We're currently working round-the-clock with Wings of Rescue to transport nearly 130 homeless dogs who are in Hurricane Delta’s dangerous path as the storm continues to threaten states along the Gulf Coast. At the request of multiple shelters in Alabama and throughout Louisiana, the animals are being safely evacuated and relocated to shelters and rescues out of the storm's path where they will be made available for adoption.

Hurricane Delta is currently a Category 2 storm expected to make landfall in the Gulf Coast on Friday. Many in this area have already faced a devastating hurricane season, and countless animals have already been impacted. By relocating animals from areas threatened by emergency situations such as this, we can get animals to safety quickly and help provide much-needed space and resources for displaced pets in impacted communities. But our work doesn't end there, and we need your help.

Your gift today can help provide rescue, care, protection and shelter to animals in times of crisis—now and in the future.

Thanks to friends like you, thousands of animals facing emergency situations—including hurricanes, wildfires and the COVID-19 pandemic—won't have to face these dangers alone. Please donate today and help us keep them from harm’s way and be there for animals in need.
