Dear John,
On Tuesday night, The Opportunity Agenda went live with our first-ever #JusticeOutLoud: Livestream Gala. And while the circumstances of 2020 sadly did not allow us to come together for an in-person event this year, one of the benefits of throwing a virtual event means the recorded gala is actually just a click away. If you missed any part of the livestream, you’re in luck. You can visit www.opportunityagenda.org/gala to experience every moment of our gala! Feel free to share with family, friends, or loved ones who also couldn’t make it.
The evening was filled with laughable, loving, learning, and inspiring moments. Here’s what some of our guests are saying about it:
|
|
|
“I mean, I got it before, sort of, but now I REALLY get it!”
“Really inspiring and so impressive how you made the virtual format work so well!”
“That was really good! Short, sweet, entertaining, to the point and very meaningful.”

Fawzia Mirza, our exceptional Emcee said it best, “It’s never too late to donate!” and your donation not only provides financial support, but it serves as a vote of confidence in the importance and the impact of what we do. Combatting social and racial injustice is dependent on narrative change, as changing hearts, minds, and policies eventually will lead to justice and opportunity for all. And this is work that is urgently needed at this unprecedented moment in our country.
If you have any questions or thoughts, we encourage you to reach out. We look forward to keeping you updated on our progress in the coming year.
My best,
Ellen Buchman President, The Opportunity Agenda
