Today’s college students have been labeled "snowflakes," unwilling to engage respectfully with views that challenge their beliefs. Some students shout down controversial speakers, while other students self-censor for fear of campus call-out culture.

But this unflattering portrayal of students offers a partial view of today’s undergraduates: most students genuinely welcome the opportunity to learn from diverse viewpoints and some have stepped up to create such opportunities for themselves and their student peers.
