Can Government be Prevented from Abusing its Power?

I say we MUST prevent the abuse of government power. We MUST prevent the abuse of our democracy and the rule of law. We are supporting legal challenges to Boris Johnson.

I wrote to you last week about our crowdfund. We felt - and thousands felt the same - that the government must be held to account.

And we raised almost £65,000! But then Boris Johnson went several steps further - he is seriously threatening to IGNORE a law passed by parliament. That is not how democracy should work.

Today we are bringing together MPs from across the political spectrum, including Dominic Grieve, Vince Cable and Caroline Lucas with campaigners for the rule of law, like Gina Miller.

They will be setting out what can be done to keep holding Boris Johnson to account. Our crowdfund will help support legal challenges and the fight to defend the rule of law.

I know I have asked you to donate before. And I am sorry to ask again. But I cannot watch this government tearing our democracy apart and not do everything I can to stop it.
