Dear John —

On Sunday, the It Gets Better Project will join LGBTQ+ people everywhere to celebrate National Coming Out Day.

For some, National Coming Out Day is a cause for celebration — a time to look back on how far they've come. Others look forward to this day to take that big step for the first time and declare who they are to the world. But for many young LGBTQ+ people who are still questioning things, it is a time for quiet reflection and introspective exploration.

We are here to support LGBTQ+ youth at every stage of their coming out journey, and there are a couple of ways you can support them too.

For the young queer person in your life who could use some joy and inspiration, check out our limited edition National Coming Out Day gift box filled with It Gets Better swag, carefully curated gifts from our partners and more. With your donation of $100 or more, send a personalized box guaranteed to make the coming out journey a little more meaningful. [[link removed]]

Another way you can show your support is by checking out our new collaboration with Instagram. We've introduced our first Instagram Guides feature, "Tips for National Coming Out Day." [[link removed]] Whether you're looking for advice yourself or you know a young person who could use some guidance, it is filled with useful tips from the It Gets Better Project and some of our friends.

We hope you enjoy — and we hope you will join us in sharing the joy, too.

Happy National Coming Out Day!
