There was a time, not that long ago, when most Americans had no trouble deciding whether they were for or against fascism.
We waged, and won — at unimaginable cost — a world war to stop the most evil fascist in human history.
How times have changed.
The President of the United States won’t stop whining about anti-fascists. As if standing up to fascism is a bad thing.
Donald Trump is even attempting to have peaceful demonstrators exercising their First Amendment rights classified as “terrorists” when his own FBI director has warned that it is violent white supremacists who pose a serious domestic terror threat.
Trump is abetted by his sycophantic Attorney General, William Barr. As the head of the nation’s largest law enforcement agency, Barr should be directing the full resources of the Justice Department toward rooting out the actual threat of white extremist militias.
But Barr has not said one word to denounce the domestic terrorists who were arrested yesterday for plotting to take Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer hostage with the goal of starting a civil war.
Tell Attorney General William Barr:
You are supposed to be the nation’s top law enforcement official. But you have not denounced the domestic terrorists who were actively plotting to take a sitting governor hostage for the purpose of initiating a civil war. You are a disgrace and should resign immediately.
Thanks for taking action.
Stay safe.
