Hey John -- want to make sure that you didn’t miss the below email my team sent you this afternoon. It’s pretty crazy to think that more folks were interested in an interesting shaped starch than in exercising their right to vote, but it’s not my job to judge! It is my job to ensure that our campaign has the appropriate resources to reach voters (like those who might be on Reddit right now!) with Gil’s message for continued progress in California’s 39th and nationwide. If we don’t close this week’s budget gap of $9,029 by midnight tomorrow, we’re going to have to scale back our digital programming, our field outreach, and our ability to stay up with our TV ads. So I’m asking you personally, John, can you rush a donation to our campaign? Even $5 makes a difference.

John -- did you see this billboard in Los Angeles? It’s pretty shocking; we know. Here’s the thing, John: Our team is holding the playbook to avoid a repetition of this abominable fact in November. The only thing standing between unprecedented voter turnout and another billboard next cycle is funding -- and right now, we’re falling short.
John, Sammy wrote you yesterday that being present in this community isn’t just a campaign maxim; it’s a personal priority of his. We don’t think this billboard is quite what he had in mind. But what remains true is that our ability to have a strong presence before voters is completely indebted to your grassroots contributions: Your donation could make the difference in Gil’s team’s ability to reach out to one more voter, to get out the vote, and to protect the right to vote in California’s 39th.
Thank you, -- Everyone on Team Cisneros |
