Trump named Amy Coney Barrett to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Amy Coney Barrett's nomination comes after Republicans pledged to support Trump's nominee - no matter who it was - weeks before an election.

But ramming Amy Coney Barrett onto the Supreme Court would be disastrous for our country and our democracy.

With Amy Coney Barrett filling the Supreme Court vacancy, the Court could invalidate the Affordable Care Act and take away a woman's right to choose by significantly restricting abortion or even repealing Roe v. Wade. Replacing Ruth Bader Ginsburg with Amy Coney Barrett less than a month before an election could tilt the Court and our democracy into dangerous territory.
