Sick, Untreated Beagles Given Maggot-Ridden Food and Sold for Lab Tests

Dogs are being bred and sold to university and corporate laboratories. In experiments at Virginia Tech, dogs were bled out until their bodies went into shock. The chests of other healthy dogs were cut open for painful, invasive heart surgeries. The university has spent tens of thousands of dollars to buy dozens of beagles each year for useless laboratory experiments.
