John,
Virginia Public Radio just broke a huge story about problems with my opponent’s financial disclosures. The report reveals that Bob Good had a potential conflict of interest with a Big Pharma giant — which he voted to give a massive handout to when he served on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors.
The fact of the matter is this: the people of VA-05 deserve a representative who will put them first.
It's incredibly troubling that Bob Good may have used his previous elected office to benefit a drug company that he owned stock in. It is even more troubling that he then hid this information from voters by not properly disclosing his financial information. It raises serious questions about whether we can trust him to fight to lower prescription drug costs.
Bob Good's disclosure illustrates why people are fed up with corrupt politicians, and are looking for new leaders.
I will always put the people first and that’s why I engage with voters directly about the issues that matter most, like healthcare, education, and jobs. And, unlike my opponent, I've been completely transparent about my personal finances and rejected corporate PAC money. Bob Good plans to win this race by relying on the support of national Republican super PACS who are flooding our race with hundreds of thousands of dollars in special interest money, but we won’t let him.
Please make a donation to help make sure that we prevail. Our race is incredibly close, and we need every last resource to get our message out in the final days and make sure this district gets a leader who will put their interests ahead of big pharma.
Thank you,
Cameron Dr. Cameron Webb
