Kamala put climate on center stage by proving that the Biden-Harris climate plan is a jobs plan and a justice plan. It trusts science and understands that climate change is an existential threat. It will create millions of good-paying union jobs. It lays the foundation for a 100% clean-energy economy. And it will fight for the communities of color that suffer the most from polluting corporations.

Sen. Harris has consistently moved climate justice forward. As San Francisco District Attorney, she created the first-ever unit focused on environmental justice. She went on to serve as California Attorney General where she sued Big Oil to uphold clean energy standards and environmental protections. As Senator, she has introduced one environmental justice bill after the next, from the Water Justice Act to the Environmental Justice For All Act and Climate Equity Act.
