Sen. Cornyn has abandoned Texans, y'all, and it's time we held him accountable. He's following Mitch McConnell and refusing to push for a deal on COVID-19 relief, despite saying that it would "look like a dereliction of duty" for the Senate to go home with no deal.
That was two months ago.
Now, he thinks Texans can do without COVID-19 relief. He thinks it's more worthwhile to abandon everything and instead push through a Supreme Court nominee. He thinks that's more important than unemployment insurance and eviction protection. He thinks it's important enough to allow small businesses to go bankrupt. He thinks it's acceptable to put politics before helping families put food on the table.
Tell him enough's enough.
