I hear it all the time: "I can't wait for this year to be over." 

2020 has been a year of unprecedented challenges for our city, and her people. From the devastating effects of the disease, to the racist violence at the hands of police, and the mounting dangers we face from our very own federal government, we have never had a time quite like this.

So, we must act now to make sure 2021 is the year things get better for all our people. I decided to run for Mayor because too many in our city face structural oppression by Race, Gender and Class, and since long before the pandemic. I have dedicated my entire life to work on the frontlines to make improvements in Black and Brown communities, and now I'm running to tackle the root-causes of those problems.
