Last night, my good friend, Senator Kamala Harris, took the debate stage and showed us all what a true leader looks like.

She spoke directly to the American people with empathy, honesty, and respect — while Mike Pence spun lie after lie, denied the existence of systemic racism, and avoided taking responsibility for this administration’s failed COVID-19 response.

Pence showed us exactly who he is: a yes-man for Donald Trump, who will go to the ends of the earth to defend this failing administration and keep a firm grip on power.

Our country is at a crossroads. We’re in a battle between right and wrong. Just and unjust. And I can say with 100% confidence that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are exactly who we need to lead us out of this moment of civil unrest.

They will fight to give us and our most vulnerable communities a voice — a seat at the table — within our government. They will restore our democracy and repair the soul of this nation. It’s for this reason that I’m asking for your help today:
