Former first lady Michelle Obama warned us that we will need to turn out in overwhelming numbers in November to end Trump’s attacks against our democracy. In Barack Obama’s words: “We can expect that this election will be won by the slimmest of margins, just like it was four years ago. A handful of votes per precinct in Pennsylvania, or Arizona, or Wisconsin, or Florida, or anywhere else will make all the difference.” The former president also warned that “we don't have the luxury to assume that things are going to turn out OK."

In 2016, 42% of eligible voters, nearly 100 million people, stayed home and handed a misogynist four years in the White House -- and a recent voter registration analysis found that the Trump campaign is outpacing Democrats in registering voters in several key states, including Pennsylvania and Florida.

We can’t afford to give Trump another four years to appoint even more far-right judges to the Supreme Court, strip us of our health care, and illegally expand executive power. The damage will be irreversible.

Our country is at a turning point, and we need to work together to elect more Democrats to the House, take back the Senate, and vote Joe Biden and Kamala Harris into the White House. We need leaders who will restore our values and work to improve the lives of every American, not just the privileged few.

With just a few short weeks until the election, we need to make sure every single eligible voter turns in their ballot. This is a pivotal moment in our history, and we need to know:
