A Collective Call to Action
"Nothing can stop the power of a committed and determined people to make a difference in our society." — Representative John R. Lewis
Friend,
Phone bank with The Collective to talk with Black voters, increase Black turnout, and Build Black Power! We are looking for volunteers to help us empower the Black vote and center our community when it comes to the November election.
SIGN UP TO BE PART OF THE FIGHT TODAY.
Over the coming weeks, you will engage directly with Black voters to:
-
Inform them of the importance of their vote and how it builds power for our communities
-
Help them understand how to vote under changing legal and political circumstances
-
Secure their Pledge to Vote safely and early and direct them to resources to make a voting plan
FACT: Black voter turnout dropped from 66.6 percent in 2012 to 59.6 percent in 2016.* These votes matter. We cannot afford to stay home this election cycle when so much is at stake. From racial justice to economic justice and healthcare — we are fighting for our lives at the ballot box.
Help Black voters 'Vote To Live' and reclaim our power to direct our lives. Sign up today to make calls with like-minded Collective Community Leaders during multiple available shifts each week in October.
Engaging with voters directly is easy and rewarding. No experience necessary — we will train you! All you need is a laptop or computer and an internet connection.
Collectively, we win,
The Collective Team
The Collective is strengthening our democracy by addressing the underrepresentation of the Black community in public office. To help The Collective build Black political power in 2020, rush support to The Collective today.
You can check your voter registration status, register to vote, and make a plan to vote at VoteToLive.org. Use our easy Pledge to Vote tool to find out how and where to vote in person or by mail and to track your ballot in your state.
