Dear John,
Like many others, my team and I have been reflecting deeply on our inclusivity and the need to broaden it. We've spent the past year listening to community leaders and seeking counsel from them on how we can improve our role in building important voices and providing opportunities for a broader spectrum of Muslims in America.
I’m humbled to announce that Imam Tariq Ansaar Aquil has joined the MPAC Board of Directors, and Umar Hakim-Dey, Principle of INKERIJ, has joined us as a consultant to guide MPAC’s African American Muslim Insight Council.

Founded in 1988, the Muslim Public Affairs Council improves public understanding and policies that impact American Muslims by engaging our government, media, and communities.
