Breaking news: Georgia’s Supreme Court unanimously sided with former State Rep. Deborah Gonzalez and decided that voters -- not Brian Kemp -- get to choose their District Attorney in this year’s election.

This is a BIG win for Deborah, one of our endorsed candidates, and the people of the Western Judicial Circuit.

Deborah has been fighting for months for the right of voters in Clark and Oconee counties to pick their D.A. -- meanwhile, Republican Governor Brian Kemp tried to cancel the election and install a handpicked crony instead.

We’re glad that the Supreme Court has so clearly told Kemp that this election must continue.
