Folks,
Growing up, I was never the social butterfly or first-string pitcher. I was the skinny dork with acne and Coke-bottle glasses. I used humor to deflect. I was your typical geek.
And when I made the jump into politics after watching our government time and again ignore everyday folks like me, I was always pegged as the goofball with a snowball’s chance.
But I didn’t let that stop me. I used it to my advantage. As governor, I brought everyday folks together because I was an everyday folk! We understood the importance of accessible health care, problems facing small business owners, and struggling parents trying to put their kids through school.
We brought people together and found common ground to get things done that mattered.
Today, Cory Gardner has done just about the opposite. He’s sown division in our state. He’s ignored the very people he was elected to serve. He’s been too weak to stand up to Trump and McConnell’s dangerous agenda.
I’m running for U.S. Senate to bring the change Washington so desperately needs. To bring people together to get things done. To finally give Coloradans a leader they can trust to do what’s right.
But this is an uphill battle. The GOP is hammering us with $30 million in attack ads. Gardner is within single digits of us. And it looks like we might have a chance to pull this off.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my life, it’s that you can count on everyday grassroots folks willing to fight for something they believe in. Which is why I’m asking you now:
Can I count on you to add a donation to my campaign for U.S. Senate today? With your help, we can flip this seat and take back our government in Washington. I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important, believe me.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Every day, I am so inspired by this team. I appreciate everything you do to help us fight for a better future.
