Dear Friend,

It's been a hard year. Right? Let's be real with each other.

But that's what amazes me about our 2020 Greens running for office. Running as a Green is hard in any year. If there is a way to more directly challenge the power structure within the realm of legal activity...it's hard to think of one, aside from going on strike. But running in 2020? Seeing a campaign through, during all of...this?

But when I speak with these courageous candidates, I hear a common theme: the crises of 2020 further prove the necessity of the Green Party's vision. So they stepped up — because someone had to.

Will you step up, to help them out? Our Coordinated Campaign Committee (aka the CCC) helps candidates and their teams through recruitment, training and direct financial grants. Will you donate directly to the CCC's operating fund now, so the next Green who steps up to run for office gets they help they need to win? <[link removed]>

Tonight, at 9pm ET, you'll have the opportunity to meet four fantastic candidates during episode 3 of our Green Wave livestream series. <[link removed]>You'll learn about how they will win in November and how you can help make that happen, no matter where you are.

- Jake Tonkel for San Jose City Council 6 <[link removed]>

- Perry Redd for Washington DC Council 4 <[link removed]>

- Jessica Clayton Brick, NJ School Board <[link removed]>

- Ben Meiklejohn for Maine State House D-135 <[link removed]>

Many Green candidates are running for office for the first time. There's no entrenched, political "machine" helping them because they're running against the machine. But we have a grassroots, nationwide network of Greens with valuable knowledge and experience. It can make all the difference.

When you give through this link your donation will go straight to the CCC, earmarked exclusively for strategic candidate development and assistance. <[link removed]> Every year, we want to do more: More campaign schools, more promotion of candidates, more direct contributions to fight back against the corporate cash flooding elections. You can make that happen!

P.S. For candidates, time is always against them. But our Green Party Monthly Sustainers <[link removed]> make time an ally by contributing throughout the year. It is such a huge help for our programs. It's always a great time to start a Monthly Sustainer membership, or pick up where you left off. <[link removed]> And let's celebrate all current Monthly Sustainers and everyone who make this party possible.
