When Abigail decided to run for Congress, Virginia’s 7th district was a SOLID REPUBLICAN district. We moved the needle slowly but surely, and in 2018, we made history when Abigail became the first Democrat since 1968 to win the seat.

This morning, we earned another milestone. The Cook Political Report announced a new rating for this district, shifting VA-07 from a toss-up to a LEAN DEMOCRAT. 

We’re working hard to hold this seat, and people are taking notice. Will you help us today by contributing so we can continue building momentum and ensure we win in November?

Here’s what this rating strongly shows: Abigail’s hard work is being recognized, and the campaign we have built together is a force to be reckoned with.

But this campaign team can’t – and won’t – take anything for granted. We are giving everything we have over the next 26 days to re-elect Abigail and ensure that Central Virginians still have a voice in Congress that listens to them and fights for their families — not special interests.
