Dear NRDC Activist,

Millions of Americans have received or will soon receive their mail-in
ballots, and early voting is already happening in states across America —
so depending on where you live, you may be able to cast your ballot to
defeat Donald Trump right now by voting for climate champions Joe Biden
and Kamala Harris.

Voting looks different this year. If you've already received and returned
your mail-in ballot, great! If not, it's important to make your plan to
vote safely and securely.

In fact, Vice President Al Gore and NRDC Action Fund President Gina
McCarthy will be on Facebook, TONIGHT at 7 p.m. ET, to talk about why it’s
so important for you to make a plan to vote, and what's at stake for our
environment, our climate, and our health in this election. Be sure to
[ [link removed] ]tune in tonight and [ [link removed] ]add this event to your calendar to receive
reminders.

And here's what you should consider when making your own plan to vote:

[ [link removed] ]If you're voting by mail, send back your mail-in ballot or drop it off at
your local board of elections office right away. Follow all directions and don't
forget to sign the envelope. If you're voting in person, look up the early
voting rules and schedule for your state. Look up your polling place location
and hours of operation. It may not be where you voted last time. Decide what day
and time you're going to vote - if you're going to vote early, go as soon as
possible to avoid crowds. Wear a mask, carry hand santizer, and keep sufficient
distance from other voters and poll workers.

Our lives and our future depend on us electing climate champions at every
level of government this year — from the White House to your state house.

We must make sure Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are sworn in next January to
end the Trump administration's attacks on science, public health, and the
environment.

[ [link removed] ]Make sure you know how, where, and when you're going to vote. Having a
plan in place now helps ensure that you can make your all-important vote
count.

Thank you for being a prepared climate voter.

Sincerely,

[1]Kevin
