Make no mistake -- marriage equality is on the ballot this November. On Monday, two Supreme Court justices clearly signaled their intention to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges, the ruling that protects marriage equality across the country.

Folks, these justices are speaking out now, because they think they have backup coming in the form of President Trump's SCOTUS nominee, Amy Coney Barrett. If she is confirmed, there will be three sitting justices willing to overturn marriage equality.

We need a strong legislature ready to step in to protect LGBTQ rights. We can't take anything for granted. Donate to my campaign right now so I can fight for our LGBTQ community in Congress.

We have come so far in the fight for equal protection for all Americans under the law, but this shows just how vulnerable our gains are. We have to keep fighting to ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or skin color, has the same opportunities under the law.

The stakes in this election couldn’t be higher. Help me win the most competitive district in the country and go on to protect the rights we fought so hard to attain.

In service,
