From day one, we've prioritized Texas--recognizing the value of its opportunity for Democrats and reward as the crown jewel of redistricting.

Today, we're seeing signs of momentum as Democrats are bringing resources and energy to Texas ahead of the most consequential election of the decade. Let's rewind quickly to put our work into perspective:

-- November 2018: We spent $2.2 million ([link removed]) ahead of the midterm elections to help Democrats make critical inroads in the Texas House, flipping 12 seats and setting the stage for Democrats to retake the key chamber ahead of the 2021 redistricting process.

-- January 2020: Our 2020 Roadmap ([link removed]) prioritized Texas as one of the most powerful points of leverage in our democracy: "Winning this lever of power would also have broad national consequences on policy and politics--from putting a check on voter suppression to reshaping the presidential electoral map, and extending health coverage via the Affordable Care Act in one of the nation's most populous states."

-- September 2020: We announced our $15 million investment this cycle to retake key GOP-held state legislative chambers across the Sun Belt before redistricting with our largest investment of $6.2 million ([link removed]) to seize this once-in-a-generation opportunity to take back the Texas House.

-- Last Week: We announced a $2.6 million ([link removed]) ad buy in North Texas to hold Texas Republicans accountable for failing to protect the health care of millions of Texans during a pandemic. And we launched a $2 million ([link removed]) ads blitz in the Houston area to help win the other key seats we need to secure a Democratic majority in the Texas House.

-- This Week: The latest fundraising numbers ([link removed]) show Democratic candidates for the Texas House have raised 90% of their Republican opponents in key target pickup races--narrowing the resource gap. And Joe Biden's presidential campaign announced a $6 million ([link removed]) spend in Texas.

We cannot let up now. Let's finish the work we've started and keep up the fight to secure a Democratic majority in the Texas House.
