Dear John Turned aside and
took bribes While this series is centered around
corruption in Oregon it is not unique to that state nor this
time. "And his sons walked not
in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted
judgment." 1 Samuel 8:3 The people could have
fixed the problem without giving power to a king but the failed to act. The
failed to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. People are failing
to attend the weightier matters and are falling again in to the house of
tyrants. God has always been trying to
set us free. He has a plan. It is up to us to be a part of His
plan.
