Elevator Pitch | PBS Texas

One big question I hear a lot: "Is a vote for an Independent a wasted vote? I want my voice to count." People who are considering an Independent candidate don't feel like their voice matters. They want to be seen. Same, fam! That's why I'm running. I'm running because I realized my vote in 2016 "counted," but it didn't "matter" because I was having to compromise 50% of my values. I wasn't being heard despite that I was being counted. You follow? It's going to continue to be that way until we make counting and matter align. This election? Next? Be bold. Make your vote matter before it counts.
