As a fellow Hoosier, I have always made it clear that Mike Pence doesn’t represent the best of my state or the best of our country. I have seen firsthand the impact of Mike Pence’s dangerous policies as Governor of Indiana and now as Vice President of the United States. And I am committed to doing everything possible to make sure he is out of a job this November.
It’s more important than ever to take back the Senate and win the White House. But that will only happen if we can protect incumbents like Senator Tina Smith in battleground states.
Minnesota is a top target for Republicans in this election. Donald Trump only lost the state by 1.5 points in 2016. But Minnesota is a must-win state for Democrats in order to flip the Senate and defeat Donald Trump. With the Supreme Court — and so much else — at stake we must recommit ourselves to this important fight.
