We’re in the final countdown to Election Day and the airwaves in Wisconsin are swamped with political messaging of all kinds. 

Commercials from campaigns and groups of every political affiliation are dominating the television sets and computer screens of Wisconsinites all across our state, and we know that can be overwhelming.

The legislation aims to empower patients and consumers while increasing competition among health care providers. It has a simple goal — eliminate surprise medical bills so Wisconsinites know exactly how much they are paying for health care, just like we do with any other product or service.
