Dear John,

When pundits talk about flipping the Senate, they usually mention Colorado, Montana, Arizona, and Maine. This year, we also have a real opportunity to flip a seat in Alaska.

Dr. Al Gross, a doctor and commercial fisherman -- and a lifelong Alaskan, is running to bring real change to Washington. I've known Al for a long time, and I know he'd make an excellent Senator because he's focused on results and committed to improving the lives of all Alaskans.

The latest poll from Independent Alaska shows that Al is just one-point behind his Republican opponent. But Mitch McConnell has seen the polls too, and that's why he's spending $1.6 million on false, misleading attack ads against Al, so he needs our help today.

Will you help Al Gross fight back against McConnell's attacks? Split a contribution between his campaign and ours to take back the Senate. With less than 30 days until Election Day, anything you can contribute will go a long way.

Al is running for Senate as an Independent, but he's been endorsed by the Alaska Democratic Party, because the fight for the Senate majority is about more than registered party affiliations. It's about protecting our health care, restoring our democracy, and combating climate change.

My friend Al would be the antidote for change we need in the Senate. But with less than 30 days before the election, he urgently needs our help.

So can Al Gross and I count on you to help turn this one-point race into a win? Please, rush a contribution between his campaign and ours today!
