For most of our nation=E2=80=99s history, the Electoral College, as devised=
by the Framers of our Constitution, was not controversial. Indeed, it was =
considered essential to preserving free and representative government.
But today, more than a dozen states have joined together in an attempt to u=
ndermine this constitutional xxxxxx of liberty. =20
This movement to undermine the Constitution has grown largely because of th=
e failure of America=E2=80=99s schools to provide young people with a prope=
r grounding in American civics=E2=80=94too many Americans simply don=E2=80=
=99t understand the importance of the Constitution, including the Electoral=
College, to liberty.
Because of this, Hillsdale College has expanded its educational mission on =
behalf of liberty nationwide, directly teaching millions of Americans in al=

This movement to undermine the Constitution has grown largely because of the failure of America’s schools to provide young people with a proper grounding in American civics—too many Americans simply don’t understand the importance of the Constitution, including the Electoral College, to liberty.
