 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Act, NAFCU is gathering credit unions' comments on
 the bureau's recently released outline.

 minutes highlight importance of additional fiscal support 
 According
 to NAFCU's Curt Long, minutes from the Federal Open Market Committee's
 (FOMC) September videoconference meeting reflect a positive outlook on economic
 progress since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. However, members flagged
 remaining uncertainty about the status of additional relief from Congress, noting
 that it would "help sustain the recovery in household spending."

 releases FAQs, rescinds bulletin on RESPA 
 The CFPB Wednesday released
 new FAQs for the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and Regulation
 X related to gifts, promotional activities, and marketing services agreements
 (MSAs). In addition, the bureau rescinded a 2015 compliance bulletin related to MSAs.
