There's no more effective tool for saving lives from abortion than ultrasound.

Recently, we shared the story of a woman in Bogotá, Colombia, who had an abortion--only to find out she was still pregnant.

40 Days for Life participants persuaded her to choose life and accompanied her to get a sonogram...

...which the expectant mother graciously shared so that you can see the fruit of your prayers!

Given that an attempt was made on the baby's life, there were fears that the baby might have been harmed during the failed abortion.

Thanks be to God, both mom and child are doing well!

Hollywood, Florida

Darlene in Hollywood is living proof that life is a gift--no matter whether that life is conceived through an act of violence.

Though Darlene was conceived through sexual assault, her courageous witness at the Hollywood vigil demonstrates the inherent beauty of human life, even amidst pain and difficulty.

Green Bay, Wisconsin

While society is more fractured than ever, many 40 Days for Life leaders and participants report an increasingly positive reaction to their peaceful, pro-life vigils.

Jim in Green Bay was praying in front of Planned Parenthood at 2:20 in the morning when a woman went out of her way to make a U-turn so she could thank him for his presence.

A week later, Aaron and Luke were leaving the vigil at 2:00 a.m. when they saw Jim being approached by a man in a pickup truck. Turning back to the vigil site to make sure Jim was not in danger, they were treated to doughnuts and coffee by the man in the truck in gratitude for their presence.

"There are good people who are willing to do good at odd hours of the morning and who also support our cause and respect for life," Jim said.

Father, hear our prayer! Snatch desperate mothers from the fire. Bring them out of our abortion businesses and into our pregnancy help centers. Deliver them from evil. Use us to help them choose life and see your hand of provision.
