Hello John,

With just nine days left until the election, a lot of political eyes will be on the TVNZ 1 poll being released tonight at 6pm.

Like the rest of the country, I don’t yet know the results of tonight’s poll. I’m interested to see it - especially as this is the first public poll which covers a period when people are actually voting. But I wanted to write to you in advance of it being released to say that whatever the results tonight, the next week will be what decides the result on election day.

Research shows that hundreds of thousands of voters only decide who they'll vote for in the final week of a campaign, and we know that right now our opponents are all ramping up their advertising campaigns to reach as many undecided voters as they can.

That means that we need to make sure our future-focused plan to rebuild New Zealand is front and centre of these voters' thoughts as they start heading to the polls. To do that, we need to seriously ramp up our advertising spend.

Everything we’ve worked for hangs in the balance over these last nine days. Will you donate and help us get our message out? <[link removed]>

YES - I'LL DONATE <[link removed]>The National Party has got deep pockets, and we know they’ll throw everything they've got at this final week. Let’s not lose our strong start now.

We know that our recovery plan is working. We need to win the strongest possible mandate or we face putting the recovery at risk.

John, no matter what the polls say tonight, we cannot afford to be complacent in these last few critical days.So please, chip in and help make sure we get over the line and we can continue rolling out the plan. <[link removed]>

Thank you,

Hayden Munro

A short note on donations:

We have a plan to keep New Zealand moving, and it’s already underway. But to keep rolling out that plan beyond this month's election, Labour needs to win enough seats to be able to return to government.

John, we’re proud to be a truly people-powered Party, and it’s only because of the generosity of thousands of supporters like you chipping in what you can that we’re going to be able to run a winning campaign.

If you can, please click the button below to make a donation to our campaign fund today so together, we can keep New Zealand moving.
