Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris are meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah for the only vice presidential debate of the 2020 campaign. Two plexiglass barriers have been stationed between them. Pence rescinded his objection to the barriers last night.
Susan Page of USA Today is moderating the debate.
Democracy Now! is streaming the debate uninterrupted for 90 minutes without commentary.
Democracy Now! will also air debate excerpts and analysis by Rev. William Barber of the Poor People’s Campaign, ebola survivor Dr. Craig Spencer and others on Thursday’s live broadcast at 8 a.m. ET co-hosted by Amy Goodman and Nermeen Shaikh.
