Tonight, my friend and colleague, Sen. Kamala Harris will take the stage for the first and only vice presidential debate of the election.

Like Joe Biden, Kamala is a champion for the Dignity of Work. She's lifted up the voices of workers and families to make our country a more equal place to live for everyone. Tonight, she will show us what real leadership looks like.

But these first few days of October have made this very clear: Anything can happen in these final weeks leading up to Election Day.

We can't take anything for granted -- especially now that Ohio is officially a toss up. Grassroots small-dollar contributions can make a big difference in races this close, so if you can, split a contribution between Joe and Kamala's campaign and mine before the debate tonight.

These past few days have highlighted the Trump Administration's reckless and careless approach to running our country.

Kamala and Joe are fighting to undo the damage done by the Trump Administration and Trump's betrayal of workers.
