The first and only 2020 vice presidential debate is tonight and John, Sen. Kamala Harris will take the stage and show why she and Joe Biden are the leaders we desperately need in the White House.

There's never been a more important time for our leaders to listen to science and to experts, and that is exactly what Kamala and Joe do. That's why they've developed a plan to tackle the pandemic from day one in the White House.

However, the current Administration has done everything to defy and deny science. Most recently, the Administration interfered in the FDA's ability to conduct oversight, potentially allowing for a surge in unreliable COVID-19 tests that could hurt our country's ability to track and respond to the pandemic.

We can't afford another four years of mismanagement at the highest levels of our government. Make no mistake, every issue that directly impacts you and your family is on the ballot this November: the pandemic, health care, climate change, the economy, gun violence, voting rights, and so much more.

I know there is so much going on in the news every day, but we need to stay focused and engaged because there's too much at stake to stay on the sidelines during this election.
