Tonight, Kamala Harris and Mike Pence will face off for the first time on the debate stage — just one week after Trump’s disastrous debate tantrum and days after the president himself contracted a deadly viral disease.

Pence is a smooth talker compared to Trump. But none of his words will make up for his and Donald Trump’s failures in office. As the chair of the coronavirus task force, Pence shares blame with Trump for the worst outbreak and response in the world.
