Hi Friend,
Nevada Question 2, the Marriage Regardless of Gender Amendment, is on the
[ [link removed] ]ballot in [ [link removed] ]Nevada as a [ [link removed] ]legislatively referred constitutional
amendment on [ [link removed] ]November 3, 2020. Tune in to the [ [link removed] ]Battle Born Progress
Facebook page this Thursday, October 8th as we chat with Nevada State
Senator, Pat Spearman about the importance of the Ballot Initiative and
what’s at stake in the 2020 election.
Question 2 would repeal the Nevada Marriage Amendment (2002) (also known
as Question 2 or the Protection of Marriage Initiative) which amended the
[ [link removed] ]Nevada Constitution to state that marriage between a male and female
was the only type of marriage recognized by the state. Question 2 (2020)
would instead define marriage as between couples regardless of gender.
