John -- we know that $15/hr is possible in Florida.

Over the past few weeks, volunteers have sent hundreds of thousands of texts to folks in Florida to make sure they know about Amendment 2 that will raise the minimum wage from $8.56 to $15/hr and help make sure they can vote.

Polls show that 2/3 of voters support Amendment 2 -- but that doesn't matter if people don't get out and vote for Amendment 2. We can't let corporations like McDonald's keep exploiting Black and Brown workers and paying us wages that keep us stuck in poverty.

You can help get out the vote. Sign up to text Florida voters to make sure they vote for $15/hr this November >> [link removed]

So yes, $15/hr is possible. If we make it happen.

Let's make it happen.

John,

We have a chance to win $15/hr for 2,500,000 workers this November -- including me.

Right now, I make $9.25/hr at McDonald's. I have no hazard pay despite putting my life on the line every time I go to work.

But Florida voters have a chance to VOTE YES on Amendment 2 this November which would raise wages from $8.56/hr to $15. It would be huge for me and my family -- and it would be huge for my community. It's about time we saw some justice for Black and Brown workers exploited by corporations like McDonald's.

But if we're going to see $15/hr this November, we have to get serious about getting folks to the polls: and that starts in Florida. Sign up to send texts to the Sunshine State for $15/hr, union rights, and our future (it'll be easy!) >> [link removed]

Today, I joined a car caravan at McDonald's to demand higher pay. $9.25/hr is a poverty wage, and we can't be silent while a $15 minimum wage is at stake.

That's how high the stakes are. And that's why I'm asking for you to volunteer by sending text messages to Florida voters about Amendment 2 to win $15/hr for all Floridians.

You'll get everything you need: training, scripts and responses, and live help from our organizers while you text.

It's easy -- I promise.

We've got one shot to change directions in this country: not just for workers like me, not just for the 2.5 million who can win $15/hr in Florida. For all of us.

In solidarity,
