Bill Catuzzi is a Trustee of First Star and a long-time supporter and champion of our Rutgers University Camden Academy. As Founder and CEO of Clarity Benefit Solutions, Bill oversees every aspect of the business, his passion being sales, marketing, and vision. Bill’s experience in the industry spans 30 years. Bill was a partner at Electronic Accounting Systems a midsize payroll service that he sold to ADP in 1991. Bill founded Clarity Benefit Solutions (formerly BeneFlex) in 1992, over the next two decades he founded and successfully sold several companies including Total Pay, and Paylocity of N.J.  Bill is an active alumni of St. Peters University where he received a BS in accounting.
As long-time supporters of the First Star Rutgers University Camden Academy, Deirdre & Bill have given so much of their time making sure our scholars are supported in every area of their lives. During the summer session of 2018, they provided each student with TI scientific calculators to support the upcoming academic year's rigorous curriculum. The next summer, Bill took our New Jersey scholars to a Phillies baseball game and later that evening, out to dinner. During this time, our scholars got a chance to connect with Bill and Deirdre, an experience that enhanced our scholars' lives, as well as the Catuzzis'! Bill and Deirdre's support did not stop there. They sponsored a day trip to New York for our scholars and facilitated a one week trip to Los Angeles for the Academy's peer mentors that culminated in their attendance at our 2020 First Star Celebration!

Knowing they couldn't meet in person this summer, Deirdre & Bill tried to arrange for students to attend a leadership camp. Unfortunately due to the current health crisis, that wasn't possible. Their sponsorship of the First Star National STEAM Academy has taken their support to a new level. There are no limits to Deirdre & Bill's generosity, which is why we are so thrilled we have the opportunity to honor them at this year's Celebration!
