National Domestic Workers Alliance and Families Belong Together

John, imagine arriving at our border, only for authorities to throw you into a camp that has been described as a "human dog pound."¹

The reports are horrifying.

Every day, families are being torn apart at the border, thrown into freezing cages, denied adequate medical care. Six children have died under US custody to date -- that we know of.

It is intentional, and it is cruel.

These are families fleeing abject poverty and horrific violence. Refugees should be met with compassion, not a xenophobic policy driven by a racist administration.

That's where we come in.

The National Domestic Workers Alliance founded Families Belong Together to fight every single day to reunite families, shed light on the abuses at the border, and challenge the anti-immigrant policies the administration puts forward.

It's tough, constant, grueling work -- but it is critical if we're going to raise awareness and lay the groundwork to hold those behind these policies accountable. A donation of $12 can make a big difference. Can you chip in to help?

Internment camps, family separation, and Trump's outrageous wall -- this is NOT the America we should be.

But anger isn't enough to stop these cruel policies: we've got to stay organized and fight back.

That's why we're working alongside families who are speaking out about the horrors of family separation, elevating advocates' voices in Congress and in the media, and supporting service providers at the border.

This is one of the biggest crises facing our country -- and that's why the National Domestic Workers Alliance is taking the lead with the Families Belong Together coalition to take on this fight. Can you make a donation to support our work?

Thanks for all you do,

Jess Morales Rocketto, Chairwoman
Families Belong Together
