Another independent poll — out this morning! — has combat veteran, working mom, and Democrat MJ Hegar surging into a statistical tie against Republican Senator John Cornyn in Texas.

According to Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight , this is the NINTH poll in about a month showing the Texas Senate race within single digits.
