The GOP is closer than ever to achieving its decades-long goal of repealing Roe v. Wade and stripping Americans of their reproductive rights.
With Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court appointment on the horizon, Americans may very well lose their right to legal abortion soon. We know this future isn’t what Americans want -- a recent NBC News poll showed that 66% of adults oppose the ruling being overturned.
We need to show our representatives that the American public stands for Roe v. Wade and demand that our right to choose remain protected -- but right now, our voices aren’t being heard. Even worse, at the presidential debate Trump tried to trick voters by claiming that Roe v. Wade is “not on the ballot” and that we don’t know Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s views on the ruling -- even though Trump already made a willingness to overturn it a litmus test of his nomination.
The threat posed to the right to choose -- as well as Trump’s attempts to deceive us about his anti-reproductive-rights agenda -- is exactly why we’re reaching out to you now. With nothing less than our bodily autonomy on the line, we need to know:
