Look, team, I've got what it takes to win this race, but I'm going to need your help.

People told me that running against Sen. Cornyn would be a tough fight -- and they're right. This is Texas. John Cornyn has been around Washington for 18 years. He's the puppet of shady Washington special interests that are pouring millions of dollars into this race to save him.

But here's the thing about me -- I'm a fighter. Always have been.

And I don't give up.

Sen. Cornyn doesn't scare me. His special interests and corporate PACs don't scare me either, even when they put out ads attacking me and trying to paint me as a "radical." I've faced much scarier things in life -- like when my crew and I faced down the Taliban. We stayed focused on the mission, and made it out together.

I wasn't alone that day, and I'm not alone today. Tough battles can only be won by tough teams, and I'm lucky to have one of the strongest. Can I count on you and the rest of our grassroots army to see this fight through?
