Friend, things aren't looking good: Right now, we're falling short of the critical funds we need to keep our ads live on the airwaves – and Georgia voters have already begun casting their ballots.

Even worse, my Republican opponent is spending $20 million of her personal fortune to buy this seat – and with NBC News calling this race a toss-up, Mitch McConnell and the GOP are spending millions more to keep this seat red.

That's why we can't afford to take our foot off the gas, even for a second. We need to raise another $15,000 by midnight to fight back and flip Georgia blue – but time is running out, and we're falling short.

I wouldn't ask if it weren't important, friend: Will you rush an urgent contribution of $5 or more now to keep our ads on the air so we can win in Georgia and take back the Senate for Democrats?

Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight confirms Democrats are "slightly favored" to take back the Senate, and The Washington Post reports winning in Georgia is key. So with early voting right around the corner, staying on the airwaves could literally make the difference between winning and losing Senate control.

But, friend, unlike my opponent, I'm not taking a dime of corporate PAC money – so I mean it when I say that I can't win this fight without grassroots folks like you. If we don't close this budget gap by midnight, our ads could go dark – and so could our chances at Senate control:

Please, friend, will you give $5 now – as much as you can spare before our crucial midnight deadline – to close this gap, flip Georgia blue and take back the Senate for Democrats?
