Yesterday, a poll came out showing our race is within the margin of error. Here are the exact numbers in case you are curious:

Sara Gideon (D): 44% (+1)
Susan Collins (R): 43%

Obviously, a tie isn't what we were hoping for at this point in the race -- especially since control of the Senate hinges on Maine. We could be the only thing standing between a Democratic majority in the Senate and Mitch McConnell continuing to steer the ship.

We've come a long way since we first launched our campaign. Our race was once ranked "leans Republican" and now we're neck and neck. I don't want to discount all the hard work that got us to this point.

But to be totally honest John, it's not enough. With just 27 days left, we need to move the needle further and faster if we want to win.
